ATTN: Georgia Hospital Leaders:
The Georgia Department of Community Health has proposed administrative rule changes under 111-2-2, CON Exemptions and Review Procedures. This proposed amendment provides hospitals with an exemption from Certificate of Need review for cardiac cath services if the Department's standards are met.
Written comments must be submitted to the DCH by December 18. Unless revisions are necessary as a result of public comments, these proposed rules will be adopted in January 2009.
