CORAZON CONSULTING AND AXIS CLINICAL SOFTWARE DEVELOP
BUSINESS ALLIANCE

February 5, 2003 - Pittsburgh, PA—Corazon Consulting, located in Pittsburgh, PA and Axis Clinical Software, Inc., located in Portland, OR, have recently entered a business alliance to assist each other with mutual new business developments. Corazon provides specialized consulting services to hospitals and healthcare providers for cardiovascular program development. Axis designs, develops, provides, and installs clinical software for hospitals and healthcare providers, and also performs consulting and maintenance services related to the software.

“We are thrilled to partner with Axis in this business alliance,” said Jackie Johnson, President of Corazon. “We will be integrating our companies’ clinical and operations benchmarks for cardiovascular services in order to add a new and much needed value to the industry.”

Corazon consultants will provide in-service and industry updates to Axis. In return, Axis will share data on cardiovascular clinical outcomes benchmarks with Corazon. According to Scott Page, President of Axis, "Combining Corazon's expertise in cardiovascular operations and business with Axis' expertise in clinical outcomes management should prove synergistic in empowering healthcare providers to proactively impact delivery of care."

Corazon and Axis will be launching this partnership with a National Benchmarking Survey. The two companies will apply cardiovascular expertise and clinical and statistical analysis to produce survey findings that will assist with benchmarking the financial and operating performance of cardiovascular programs. Over 2,000 hospitals across the country that provide cardiac catheterization and open heart surgery services will be invited to participate. Participants will be solicited beginning in February and results will be compiled and reported this fall.

Corazon will also provide input to Axis in its future software development plans.
