PITTSBURGH FAMILY HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE
2006 “Toast to Life” Gala to Celebrate Johnson’s Dedication
Pittsburgh, PA —October 17, 2006—Corazon Inc., a national leader in providing specialized consulting and recruitment services to hospitals for development of cardiac and vascular programs, announced that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jackie Johnson, will be this year’s honoree at the 2006 Family Hospice and Palliative Care “Toast to Life” Gala, planned for October 28 in Pittsburgh.
Johnson was selected by members of the Foundation Board and Hospice Board of Directors, and also by Rafael Sciullo, the President and CEO of the Hospice organization. According to Sciullo, “Jackie’s dedication to Family Hospice and Palliative Care is contagious. Her enthusiasm has opened so many doors for us throughout Western Pennsylvania …She has a passion for our mission; those who know her cannot help but be pulled in by her energy.”
Since 1999 Johnson has tirelessly advocated for Family Hospice as a member of the Board of Directors and co-chair of their annual Golf Benefit. Despite her busy career, she remains dedicated to the cause of compassionate end-of-life care, spending countless time and energy in support of this organization. C urrently, she serves as the Vice President of the Foundation Board and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Center for Compassionate Care.

The annual “Toast to Life” Gala will take place at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh on October 28.
