CORAZON NAMED AMONG 'BEST PLACES TO WORK IN PENNSYLVANIA' FOR SECOND YEAR RUNNING

Pittsburgh, PA, November 30, 2007—Corazon, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based leader in cardiovascular program development for clients across the country, was recently named as one of the “Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania ” for the second year in a row.

The winners of the 2007 “Best Places to Work in PA” Award were recognized and honored at a sold-out ceremony on November 27 at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center in Hershey , PA. The final rankings of all 100 companies were revealed to the audience during the night’s festivities. Corazon appeared as the #50 company in the medium-sized category on this prestigious list of 100 businesses that stand-out among the 322,000+ in the state. The list was split into two groups: 50 medium-sized companies (25-250 employees) and 50 large-sized companies (251 or more employees).

This in-depth survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania —those which benefit the state's economy, its workforce, and businesses. Thousands of companies across the state entered the two-part process to determine the “100 Best Places to Work in PA.” An evaluation of each company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics was completed, contributing 25% to the total evaluation score. Then, employees were surveyed to measure their experiences, worth 75% of the total evaluation score. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

The “Best Places to Work” Award is a program created through a public/private partnership of Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and the Central Penn Business Journal.
