CORAZON FOUNDER & CEO RECEIVES DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH KATZ GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Pittsburgh, PA — March 23, 2007—Jackie Johnson , Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Corazon, a nationally-recognized cardiovascular consulting and recruitment firm, has received the 2007 Distinguished Alumna Award from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.

The Business Alumni Association Board of Directors bestows the Distinguished Alumni Award on graduates of the Katz program in celebration of professional achievements and community service. Since 1964, this yearly award has honored Katz alumni who have attained outstanding business leadership and demonstrated community involvement.

A Nominating Committee brings candidates to the entire Board for a vote on the year’s winners. This year, Jackie’s professional qualifications, leadership contributions to the healthcare industry, and commendable community service have earned her this special recognition.

According to Johnson, “I’m extremely proud to receive this award…it is indeed a pleasure to be named among the best and brightest from a renowned institution like the Katz Business School. The education, experience, and network of colleagues I’ve gained through my involvement with the Katz program have been so valuable to me   both personally and professionally.”

Johnson earned her Master of Business Administration Degree from Katz in 1986 as a recipient of a Fellowship for Academic Excellence—she was the only nurse in a class of 209 full-time students. In 2004, Johnson completed an Entrepreneurial Fellowship with the University, and to date remains involved with the Katz Business School as a participant in the EFC Roundtable and through attendance at speaker and social events held throughout the year.

Jackie and members of the Corazon team will celebrate her accomplishment at an Awards Dinner May 17 at the Duquesne Club in Downtown Pittsburgh.
