INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST

Good Samaritan Physician Services, a multi-specialty physician network affiliated with The Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA, is currently seeking a MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY. This is an exciting opportunity to advance an existing program by expanding services and techniques while growing the program through community outreach.

THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR will provide clinical direction and leadership to the staff servicing patients in this area and oversight for all program-related activities and performance. He or she will serve as a liaison with the medical staff on CT Surgery-related issues and provide education and communication on CT Surgery technology and practice.

Interested candidates should have the following qualities and demonstrated success in the following areas:

  • Clinical Competence – Candidate should have excellent track record and be skilled in Cardiac and/or Thoracic, or Vascular Surgery. Minimum of five years experience. THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR will display clinical competence while always focusing on quality care.
  • Leadership skills and qualities – THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR’s responsibilities will require excellent communication and effectiveness interacting with both colleagues and community members. He or she will be expected to cultivate a cohesive and unified “team” atmosphere amongst colleagues. THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR should also be able to foster relationships within the community and be prepared to actively promote the hospital and service line.
