Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA) based in Johnson City, Tennessee, is seeking an INVASIVE CARDIOLOGIST to bring strategic insight, vision, and team building experience into the new cardiac catheterization program at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia, a facility within MSHA. Preferred skills include Cardiac Catheterization, Nuclear, Echocardiography, Stress Testing, and Electrocardiograms.

The successful candidate will be employed by Mountain States Medical Group-Cardiology, a progressive hospital-employed practice comprised of the area’s best cardiac and vascular specialists, mid-level providers, and medical office specialties.

He or she will primarily practice in the brand new, state-of-the-art Johnston Memorial Hospital, while also providing services to nearby Russell County Medical Center and Smyth County Community Hospital.

The selected candidate will be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or osteopathy with a Degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy. He or she will have completed a three-year accredited medical residency program, and will be Board-Certified in Cardiology or Board-Eligible / Board-Certified within one year.
