GENERAL CARDIOLOGIST

To meet the needs of the community, Satilla Regional Medical Center is seeking a dynamic NON-INVASIVE CARDIOLOGIST who will bring strategic insight, vision, and team-building experience into its cardiology program. The successful candidate will join Satilla Regional Specialty Physicians, a growing and thriving hospital employed multi-specialty group. The hired physician will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care to cardiac patients in the region.

SRMC and affiliated group practices are well-established and well-respected in the community, and benefit from the support of an administration that is dedicated to promoting the system’s doctors and the many services they provide. Working with other physicians and SRMC’s team of cardiovascular nurses, technologists, and nuclear technologists, Cardiologists on the medical staff perform more than 1,200 cardiac catheterizations and 275 angioplasties per year, as well as other advanced procedures.

The selected candidate will be a graduate of an accredited medical school. Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program and an approved fellowship program in cardiovascular disease are required. Board eligibility / Board certification are also required.

A sign-on bonus, relocation package, and other premiums accompany this offer. SRMC provides compensation at MGMA’s median, however, salary is negotiable, and is subject to candidate experience and overall compensation cap.
