South Jersey Healthcare is seeking a dynamic VASCULAR SURGEON who will bring strategic insight, vision, and team-building experience to its well-established organization. The selected candidate will be a highly-skilled and motivated individual with the drive, ambition, and experience to build and grow the vascular program at South Jersey. He or she will also provide community outreach to the surrounding areas, and be employed by SJH.

SJH has been serving residents of Southern New Jersey for 100 years. Comprehensive services are provided to SJH Elmer Hospital, a 90-bed facility and to the SJH Regional Medical Center, a 262-bed, state-of-the-art hospital that opened in 2004. A satellite emergency department located at the SJH Bridgeton Health Center serves patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

SJH has a commitment to provide high-quality care to local patients, and in 2008, earned the Gold Seal of Approval for Stroke and Heart Failure Care. The hospital recently developed the “Cardiology Center of Care”. The new cardiology unit provides care that was previously unavailable in Cumberland County. At the “heart” of the Center is the county’s first catheterization lab.

The surgeon must be board certified by the American Board of Vascular Surgery and have up to five years of experience beyond training. Experience with angioscopy/angiography and interventional procedures, open surgical vascular procedures, and interpretation of vascular lab studies is required.
