The Wheaton Franciscan Heart Care – All Saints Cardiovascular Institute is searching for a CVOR MANAGER to be accountable for the operations of multiple care units in multiple geographic locations, along with the supporting staff. The MANAGER will also be responsible for building and maintaining effective unit-based teams and promoting teamwork across patient care units and departmental boundaries, and collaborating with other departments and disciplines to improve patient care and support services.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

• Directing teams within the units
• Administering financial resources
• Participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of systems and process that support the organization’s quality improvement plan
• Utilizing organizational, management, and nursing principles to establish a professional practice environment
• Human Resources Management
• Supervisory Practices

The All Saints Cardiovascular Institute opened in 2008, and provides a full array of services from prevention and outreach to interventional treatments and surgery using the most advanced technology, including the state’s only magnet-guided catheterization system to treat irregular heartbeat. The physicians are pioneers in cardiovascular care, offering new treatments and techniques that promise fewer complications, shorter hospital stays, and better outcomes.

An Associate’s Degree (required) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred, along with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a cardiovascular operating room. Evidence of strong clinical nursing experience with a progressively increasing involvement with leadership activities is also preferred. An active, unrestricted Wisconsin nursing license is required.
