CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST / CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATOR
Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC), a 553-bed, award-winning, not-for-profit healthcare network comprised of two state-of-the-art hospitals in Lawrenceville, and Duluth, Georgia, is searching for a CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST / CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATOR. The main function of this role is to identify staff educational needs and then provide clinical instruction; collaborate in the management of heart and vascular patients; facilitate best nursing practices; serve as a leader, consultant, and liaison; and conduct research to improve nursing practice.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist/Clinical Nurse Educator will work under the supervision of the Director of Cardiovascular Services.

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required, with a Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. (An MSN is required for the CNS title.) Applicants must be currently registered as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist, or eligible to initiate the application process in the State of Georgia. Three to five years recent post-Open Heart Surgery experience is also required.
