CLINICAL DIRECTOR - CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION LAB
The Texas Heart Institute and St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System located in Houston, TX are jointly searching for a CLINICAL DIRECTOR OF THE CARDIAC CATH LAB.
THE CLINICAL DIRECTOR will have responsibility for providing direction and leadership for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology patient services within the 11 Labs, ensuring that high-quality, cost-effective invasive cardiovascular testing and treatments is provided to patients. THE CLINICAL DIRECTOR is accountable to provide a safe and caring environment for all patients and their families on a psychosocial as well as physical basis.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; a Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred. An active, unrestricted Texas nursing license is required (or eligible upon hire). Receipt of a Texas license is required prior to beginning employment.
Three to five years experience in a managerial role in a large, high volume cath lab setting, as well as recent clinical expertise with coronary, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular procedures is required. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and strong customer service skills are also required.
