Bloomington Hospital has hired an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of HEART & VASCULAR SERVICES to oversee the full continuum of care at the Bloomington Regional Heart & Vascular Institute. Bloomington Hospital is a 355-bed not-for-profit organization that offers a full range of progressive healthcare services to approximately 367,000 patients annually. With more than 300 physicians in 31 medical specialties, Bloomington Hospital consistently ranks above the U.S. and Indiana Hospital averages for quality measures.

A leader in south-central Indiana, Bloomington Hospital’s Regional Heart & Vascular Institute is one of the most comprehensive cardiovascular programs between Indianapolis and Louisville, offering cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology with 3D mapping capabilities, a Congestive Heart Failure Center, a Pacemaker Clinic, Cardiovascular surgery, Vascular surgery, a 64-slice CT scanner with cardiac imaging capabilities, as well as Cardiac Rehabilitation. Procedural volume includes 2,000 cardiac catheterization cases, over 800 interventions, approximately 200 open heart surgeries, 2,100 Congestive Heart Failure Center visits, and over 10,000 combined cardiac rehabilitation visits.
