HIRED: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of CARDIOVASCULAR SERVICES

Foote Health System (FHS), a 400-bed progressive regional acute-care provider located in the Great Lakes Area of Jackson, MI, has found an experienced EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of CARDIOVASCULAR SERVICES, to take on responsibility for all diagnostic, interventional, and patient care components of the specialty service line. In this role, the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR will perform a wide range of administrative, fiscal, marketing, and strategic functions, with responsibility for standards of practice and clinical and operational quality initiatives.

In the summer of 2006, FHS received their Certificate of Need (CON) to add elective PCI and open heart surgery to their service line, scheduled for a February 2007 launch. FHS will also undertake a construction project to include two new OHS operating rooms, additional cath labs, a universal bed patient unit, and new diagnostic and support space. The new EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of CARDIOVASCULAR SERVICES will take an active role in directing the design/development phase of this program.
