HIRED: CARDIOVASCULAR SURGEON
Good Samaritan Hospital, a modern, fully-equipped, fully-accredited, 207-bed acute care facility in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, has hired a CARDIOVASCULAR SURGEON to address the increasing volumes of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures at their newly-expanded cardiovascular program. The volume of patients has continued to increase since its inception, with over 150 open heart surgeries performed.
In April 2005, an expanded surgical suite with two new cardiovascular operating rooms was opened, along with an adjacent pre-operative area, which provides added convenience for surgical patients and staff. Additionally, a new cardiovascular unit was opened using the cardiac "universal bed" model. The cardiac cath lab consists of two new labs with space to expand, with the latest digital equipment and a nine-bed prep/recovery area and a private waiting area for families. |
