PROGRAM LEADER for CARDIOVASCULAR
Saint Joseph HealthCare, in partnership with Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center, has hired a PROGRAM LEADER for CARDIOVASCULAR to
provide leadership and accountability for the cardiovascular clinical practices and operational functions at The Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center.
The Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center, inclusive of the Appalachian Heart Institute, is a 308-bed, acute-care and psychiatric hospital that enjoys a reputation of excellence as a patient-oriented, rural health facility. The Heart Institute was created to help with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease in Central Appalachia, an area plagued with a high incidence of CV-related diseases. The Institute uses a team approach to provide a seamless cardiac care program for the people of the region.
The PROGRAM LEADER for CARDIOVASCULAR will be an employee of St. Joseph HealthCare working at Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center through a management agreement between the two organizations. This position will have an indirect reporting relationship to the CEO at Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center and a direct reporting relationship to the COO at St. Joseph HealthCare. The PROGRAM LEADER for CARDIOVASCULAR will be charged with ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and customer-responsive cardiac and vascular services throughout the hospital.
