HIRED: CARDIAC PRODUCT LINE MANAGER
Iredell Memorial Hospital (IMH), a not-for-profit, 248-bed facility located in Statesville, North Carolina, 40 miles north of Charlotte, hired a CARDIAC PRODUCT LINE MANAGER to be responsible for planning, implementing, organizing, and evaluating the cardiovascular service line of the hospital, inclusive of the IMH Heart Station and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
IMH is committed to expanding their current cardiac program and has the support of its cardiac and other staff physicians. In the past year, the Cardiac Cath Lab performed 750 diagnostic procedures; but, after interventional program has been developed, approximately 300 cardiac interventions will be performed annually as well. The hospital continues to invest in the latest technology, including a 64-slice CT scanner that will be installed in the winter of 2006, and a second dual-purpose catheterization lab will open by the fall of 2007.
