HIRED: CVOR FIRST ASSIST
Reid Hospital & Health Care Services has hired a CVOR FIRST ASSIST to support physician(s) within professional, technical, and legal parameters. The hired CVOR FIRST ASSIST will render patient care, as directed, to the full extent of professional training and perform, under the responsibility of the surgeon, all diagnostic, therapeutic, and related tasks, thereby allowing the physician(s) to extend services through more effective use of knowledge and decision-making.
Primary responsibility will be centered on the CV Operating Room, the post-open heart and intensive care units, which provide patient care based on the universal bed philosophy. The CVOR FIRST ASSIST will also be involved in endo-vein harvesting and function as a surgical first assistant during cardiothoracic surgery cases. |
