HIRED: DIRECTOR OF CARDIAC SURGICAL SERVICES

St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC), a 365-bed acute care hospital in Towson, Maryland, has hired a DIRECTOR OF CARDIAC SURGICAL SERVICES to provide leadership and operational / financial oversight for all cardio-thoracic surgical services at The Heart Institute of SJMC, which includes the largest open-heart surgery and all-digital cardiac catheterization program in Maryland. SJMC has been recognized consistently as one of the nation’s "Top 100 Heart Hospitals" by Solucient. In 2005, the Heart Institute performed 8,750 cardiac catheterizations and 1,200 open-heart surgeries, and added a sixth all-digital cardiac cath lab.
