HIRED: VICE PRESIDENT of CLINICAL OPERATIONS

Texas Heart Hospital of the Southwest (THHSW), a Baylor Health Care System affiliate, has hired a VICE PRESIDENT of CLINICAL OPERATIONS to lead their new 68-bed, full-service heart center currently under construction. The $106-million, 180,000 square-foot acute care facility is being built near the Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano, and will open its doors to the public by the end of January 2007 with over 450 clinicians and support staff to offer state-of-the-art patient care. The VICE PRESIDENT of CLINICAL OPERATIONS will serve as the Nurse Executive who provides effective and coordinated leadership for the delivery of nursing care to patients using the universal bed model at THHSW.
