HIRED: CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON

Western Maryland Health System (WMHS), a two-campus progressive healthcare organization serving patients in Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, has hired an experienced CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON to join the hospital-employed practice. The selected candidate will help grow the cardiac, thoracic, and vascular program and provide community outreach to the surrounding areas.

The only program of its kind west of Baltimore, the Heart Institute at WMHS includes an open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology program, including angioplasty. According to Healthgrades®, the WMHS Heart Institute is ranked #1 in Maryland for heart surgery and #1 in Maryland for overall cardiac services for the second consecutive year.
